EDL 0.10.0 Release Notes

This article contains the release notes for EDL 0.10.0, which was released on November 28th 2023.

Release Summary Overview

In respect to the EDL 0.9.0 version, the new EDL 0.10.0 version integrates the following main upgrades:

• Datalabs that have not been accessed for the past 3 days are automatically paused. The users may resume their datalabs by clicking the Resume button.
• Loose coupling of the application services domain
• Optimisation of data transfer by the internal proxy
• Euclid SSO pipeline
• Performance improvements to the Datalab Editor GUI
• Fixes to the resource-saving datalab pause/resume feature
• Bugfixes to the issue where a new user may not be able to access their personal workspace
• Optimisation of data transfer via the internal proxy for slightly smoother file uploads and downloads to workspaces
