EDL 0.19.0 Release Notes

This document contains the release notes for EDL 0.19.0. The release was completed on 29 September 2026.

Release Summary Overview

The new EDL 0.19.0 version integrates the following changes:

a) Mission Content Filtering

• Each app now displays a mission chip on its card;
• Added mission-specific content filtering for EDL when embedded in the EDS platform;
• Mission filtering applies only to embedded EDL instances; standalone use remains unchanged;
• Updated the ordering so mission-specific apps appear first, followed by generic apps, with each group sorted by most recently modified.

b) Single sign-on (SSO) integration with Keycloak

• Switched EDL authentication from CAS to Keycloak as the identity provider;
• Added Keycloak-based SSO using the OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code flow.

c) Enhancements

• Display user UID number in the ESA Datalabs Account Overview page.

d) Bugs

• Fixed the Data Volume Details dropdown so selecting an option correctly switches between the available data volume.
