EDL 0.14.0 Release Notes
This document contains the release notes for EDL 0.14.0. The release was completed on October 7th 2024.
Release Summary Overview
In respect to the EDL 0.13.0 version, the new EDL 0.14.0 version integrates the following main upgrades:
- Improvement of the known issue of limited accessible workspaces per user. Now all users have the possibility to be a member of 15 team workspaces, which used to be limited to 7.
- Several backend security improvements related to or for databases supporting ESA Datalabs
- Possibility to synchronise ESA Datalabs users’ team workspace, pipeline and private datalab accesses based on Cosmos LDAP groups.
- Backend and proof-of-concept implementations in preparations for the GSSC integration
- Drone pipeline improvements related to Multi-clustering
- Balloon notifications of warning messages stay visible for 30 seconds and the text can be copied to inform the service desk of any issues you may encounter
Datalabs Editor GUI Overview
- Improvements in handling 502 error at datalab launch
- Logs at build time have been redesigned to avoid incomplete logs or no logs
- Added functionality to show logs at datalab launch
- GPU resources can now be selected when starting a datalab
- Correct version of datalab is now launched as per selection (when multiple versions exist)
- When sharing a datalab the usernames are now displayed correctly

- API docs now include the application services API examples
- In-depth documentation of databases supporting ESA Datalabs in SDD
- ESA Datalabs access model diagram now available on request. Please contact the Service Desk if you are interested in learning more about the role-based access model of ESA Datalabs.
